This is a wonderful sterling silver brooch designed by Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen.  Koppel joined Georg Jensen after WWII, at the age of 27 and created a large body of design work for Jensen until his passing at the age of 63 in 1981.  This brooch was designed by Koppel in 1956, and features a very modernist Amoeba form.  The back is stamped “Georg Jensen Sterling Denmark 324”.  It measures 1 3/4” by 1 1/2” and weighs 12 grams.  It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear - I have not polished the brooch.
